This last month or so, it is all about Sinterklaas at our house. Jerome especially, he is literally obsessed, and he is cutting all his favorite toys out of the little photo books from the toy stores in our neighborhood. Every day I tell him that eventually he will have to choose 1 or 2 items maximum, and until now he seems ok with that. The cutting out of the little books has become a sort of play for him. I don’t mind actually, he is busy for hours, haha! And Remi, since he always looks up to his older brother, is copying him and cutting too. Last week, I took my camera and made some snaps of them in their cute outfits, prepping for Sinterklaas. All of their clothes are from my fave store Fish On The Moon, with beautiful brands like Emile et Ida, I Dig Denim, Mini Rodini and many others. The shoes are from Bisgaard. And Fish On The Moon has a little surprise for our Mwordmag readers! To stay in the theme, you can win a fantastic Sinterklaas gift package from Fish On The Moon, worth at least 200 euros. This package contains a backpack from Mini Rodini or Emile et Ida, a giant coloring plate from Makii, a book from Stratier, a doll from Sweetheartdolls and other things! All you have to do is follow me (@kowaleen) and @fishonthemoon on IG and tag 2 friends under the pictures relating to this blogpost and this giveaway. So double your chances by playing on both our IG accounts! You also have to subscribe to the newsletter from Fish On The Moon. The winner will be announced on Monday the 28th! Good luck!!

I certainly do not have green fingers. Most of the time my plants die, but I really really love them, so I decided to make an effort and ask good advice. I am so happy that all plants are still alive after a month. So proud. Now only need to keep it up.
Jeanne loves to water the plants with me and she even talks to them, maybe it is the talking that keeps them alive. Either way, we love them and we also love the FUB outfit Jeanne is wearing (found here: FOOL DE WOOL).
Groene vingers?

I ALWAYS have the intention to go outside more and to let the kids play and get dirty. But we end up inside way too often for my liking. I believe it’s healthy for them to just use their imagination and use nature to play hide and seek, soccer or any game that they invent themselves. In our household, we try to limit Ipad time to just one day a week (on Sunday to be specific) and then they get to use it for approximately 20 minutes each. Even though this is quite a short time, I notice a huge difference in their behavior (especially the boys!) and they get angry, tired and irritated much easier when they have played on it. And me too, I get irritated when we lost a day sitting inside. So a couple of weeks ago, when the weather was sunny, we got outside again, just to run and play. I took a few snaps while at it. Looking at these I’m thinking… we should get outside more, haha! They wear gorgeous clothes from Carrement Beau and Billiebandit. The shoes are from Bisgaard, of course. Do you go outside much with your kiddos?
