I ALWAYS have the intention to go outside more and to let the kids play and get dirty. But we end up inside way too often for my liking. I believe it’s healthy for them to just use their imagination and use nature to play hide and seek, soccer or any game that they invent themselves. In our household, we try to limit Ipad time to just one day a week (on Sunday to be specific) and then they get to use it for approximately 20 minutes each. Even though this is quite a short time, I notice a huge difference in their behavior (especially the boys!) and they get angry, tired and irritated much easier when they have played on it. And me too, I get irritated when we lost a day sitting inside. So a couple of weeks ago, when the weather was sunny, we got outside again, just to run and play. I took a few snaps while at it. Looking at these I’m thinking… we should get outside more, haha! They wear gorgeous clothes from Carrement Beau and Billiebandit. The shoes are from Bisgaard, of course. Do you go outside much with your kiddos?

When you ask Lilou who she wants to be when she grows up, then her answer is “a princess”, of course! Although she likes to go to the youth movement and she adores to play in the woods and spending time outside, fighting her brothers with sticks, she is a true girly girl at heart. Give her all the bling, glitter, pink and tulle in the world… I think she got it from her mama, ha! So when we were choosing some new clothes for winter at Childrensalon, her eye fell on this gorgeous brand Billieblush. It is playful, fun, girly, colorful,… you know, all a girl can dream of! Needless to say that these clothes are Lilou’s fave for this season. Don’t forget to check Childrensalon for more gorgeousness. Oh and how about my backdrop?! We’re renovating our entire house, and I thought this wall could give a nice contrast to all this prettiness.

A couple of weeks ago we went to the fair in our home town, especially Lilou is a big fan, she LOVES the carroussel, the fishing of the ducks (for the ugly gifts, ha!) and all things candy and chocolate. We kept it semi-healthy with an apple, although covered in chocolate and colored sprinkles, haha! She chose a pink sparkly dolphin as a price because she just got a tiny little baby sis Delphine, which apparently means ‘dolphin’. And they all adore their little sis. The boys love the carroussel too but they cannot be bothered too much. All the kiddos wore Name it clothes from top to bottom and they (an I!) loved it. These outfits are perfect for school too by the way. A little neat but comfy enough too.
